Ho sempre pensato che un vero artista deve soffrire per quello che non ha o per qualcosa di cui crede d'essere stato derubato. Questo gli serve per ricreare in chi lo osserva la stessa nostalgia, nella speranza che anche all'altro manchi una parte di sé e riesca a ritrovarla attraverso la sua opera. Il piacere dell'arte nasce proprio da qui, dalla metamorfosi, dallo scambio di ruolo. Così l'uomo attento ai propri umori decifra il codice di un altro.

Ballet Rotoscope By Masahiko Sato + EUPHRATES
Created by the Japanese collaborative of artists, researchers and designers Masahiko Sato + EUPHRATES, their project named Ballet Rotoscope is an experimental short film that mesmerizingly follows the movement of a ballerina using a rotoscope animation method. A ballerina dances while the joints on her body are traced with a computer-generated rotoscope animation technique, an algorithm that brings a mathematical layer to her natural movements.
Invented in 1905 by Max Fleischer, rotoscope is a traditional technique for creating animation.
