Edificare l'intera vita su delle convinzioni non è un atto di coraggio ma un peccato dovuto alla totale mancanza d'immaginazione. "Inizia a dubitare", ci avvertivano gli scettici nel III secolo a.C., "e prosegui dubitando del tuo stesso dubbio."
Se l'orrore degli antichi per le certezze fosse riuscito a espandersi in tutto il continente, oggi saremmo maturi per sollecitare la sostituzione di termini come Fede, Politica o Giustizia con quello più adeguato di "sociologia teatrale".

Karolin Klüppel

29 year-old German photographer Karolin  Klüppel recently visited a small Khasi village in India, and was particularly interested in matriarchal or matrilineal societies, and any society where the gender relation is different from what we know. Mädchenland is a series about the girls of a village called Mawlynnong, in the Indian state of Meghalaya.
