Ad L., che prima di partire s'era tanto raccomandata di ricevere un resoconto dettagliato di tutto quello che avrei fatto a Parigi, ho appena inviato questa lettera:

Cara L.

stamattina mi sono svegliato con un leggero mal di testa (Bayer®), ma dato che avevo in programma di fare un sacco di cose, ho preparato velocemente un tè (Lipton®) e sono sceso in strada (Otis®). Ho preso un giornale alla prima edicola (LeCanard®) quindi mi sono diretto a St. Michel per incontrare J. che arrivava con il treno dalla banlieu (RER®). Abbiamo pranzato insieme (Sushi®) e parlato dell'ultimo inedito di Cioran (Gallimard®). Purtroppo sul più bello ha ricevuto una telefonata (Apple®) e si è dovuta precipitare alla stazione per tornare a casa (Brie-Comte-Robert®). A quel punto mi sono fatto ben tre ore di coda per riuscire a vedere la mostra di Dalì (CentrePompidou®) e adesso eccomi qui a letto tramortito (Ikea®) pronto ad inviarti quanto avevo promesso (Samsung®).

Sull'aereo, tra le riviste che la compagnia offriva ai viaggiatori, c'era l'ultimo numero di Esquire. Spaginandolo mi sono imbattuto in un fotografo che non conoscevo: Dan Tague.
Il suo lavoro lo pubblico tra pochi minuti.
("lo pubblico" è esagerato, lo so, ma "postare" fa vomitare).

"Luminant Point Arrays" is a photographic series of old tube televisions taken at the very moment they are switched off. The TV picture breaks down and is abstracted to its essential element: light. This abstraction also results in the collapse of the external reference.
Each of these photographs is from a different TV, but it's also the length of exposure, timing, and time the TV has been running before the photo is taken that accounts for the difference in results.
