OTTO is a science-fiction short about a household robot who begins asking a question he was never designed to ask: What does it mean to be human? His longing for a family leads him to seek a human experience of his own.
Family becomes Otto’s closest image of humanity. His pursuit of that connection raises questions about consciousness, memory, and belonging: what makes an experience real, and who gets to decide? An intimate story that invites audiences to feel before they judge.
Otto discover a program called OtherLife® that promises robots to have a real live human experience through a simulation. Childhood. First love. A family of his own. Every feeling, every touch.
