Qui le abitudini non sembrano essere più le mie. Mi sveglio la mattina con il profumo dei tigli, la filodiffusione e lo scrosciare dell'acqua nella vasca. Non è il fiume di Eraclito quello in cui mi bagno, ma un flusso di coscienza libero da ricordi tristi. Il tempo non lo sento opprimente: anche se prosegue nella sua direzione, sembra avere ridotto la velocità. Osservo la stanza con i suoi oggetti privi di funzione, mi faccio la barba senza specchiarmi, mi vesto sobriamente, poi chiudo per alcuni secondi gli occhi domandandomi come impiegherò questo giorno che mi è stato gentilmente regalato.
