Did John McCracken Make That Monolith in Utah?

 

The "Utah monolith" was found, by chance, during a routine helicopter flight by Utah's Department of Public Safety (DPS). And its mystery only deepened when an internet sleuth on Reddit posted Google Earth images suggesting that it had been around since 2016. It's not just the anonymous artist, but the lack of detail around the piece makes it more mythical. It's open ended, and it inspires creative thought, because everybody's theories are possible.
