Dormire e svegliarsi, procreare o rimanere unici, fermarsi e alla fine andarsene. Non c'è una risposta al senso della vita perché è essa stessa una domanda, l'ultima a cadere nel vuoto quando tutte le domande sono state fatte. Esiste solo il divenire della realtà su cui nessuno può barare, implacabile come ogni legge di valore universale. Per questo non riesco a immaginare lo stato d'animo che precede la morte diversamente dall'ansia glaciale del giocatore d'azzardo, quando è sul punto di dover mostrare le carte nell'ultima mano.
