Erica Wexler, who tragically died at a young age, still hops onto Facebook every now and then and chats with friends and family. The short touches on a few different scenarios that could explain the apparent communication from the dead, but ultimately the folks interviewed resign themselves and accept it, thinking that she's somehow influencing their lives. Yeah, real important influence, such as (and I'm paraphrasing) "Friend: Hey, should I get bangs? Erica: Yeah, totally". It's subtle, understated humor in a very original way.

Avere delle certezze è la grande illusione dell'umanità.

L'unica certezza che può avere l'uomo è la sua mortalità, ma neanche questa è un'affermazione assoluta, dato che il primo uomo che è morto, avendo come unico riferimento la propria vita, non poteva sospettare che ci fosse una fine. 

Ogni volta che facciamo un'esperienza, sia che si tratti di sentimenti o di un viaggio di piacere, la mente la salverà in uno spazio dedicato, una scatola per reliquie dove tenerla al sicuro dal trascorrere del Tempo. Ma è uno sforzo inutile: la realtà esiste soltanto in nostra presenza, dopo di che continua altrove senza di noi.
C'è un solo istante in cui passato e futuro diventano indistinguibili: questo è il presente, l'unico dove ciò che è stato e quello che sarà coincidono, sovrapposti nel loro disegno come in un'eclissi. E come in un'eclissi, man mano che l'allineamento viene meno, la certezza fa ritorno nell'orbita dell'ipotesi.
